Summer Evenings

Last night was the first evening in a long time that the air got chilly. It was the perfect night for a cookout and a backyard concert with twinkle lights. Tonight I drove a little out of the way just to get the skyline & lights when you come out of the Ft. Pitt Tunnel, there's nothing in the world that compares to it. I can almost feel summer shutting down & I just want to notice every one of these little moments before I can see my breathe in the air again. Summer in Pittsburgh makes me remember every reason why I fell in love with this city to start with, & it holds me over long enough until it's summer evenings like this again.
