There's No Crying in Football

No, that's baseball. There's no crying in baseball. There is crying in football, I can tell you from experience.

Tonight I'm holding a mini Shiva. It's how Jews mourn, usually for 7 days... there's no bathing, no clean clothes, no preparing food, you just sit & mourn. I can't do this for 7 days because I have to work tomorrow, but I'm going to have just 1 night to mourn. No shower, sleeping in my Steeler t-shirt I've worn all day long, no food. I'll just grieve this loss, feel the fullness of it, & tomorrow I move on.

Condolences only, please. If you leave me an anti-Steeler comment we are no longer friends... I'm totally serious.

  1. I mourned with you.

What's worse is that I had to watch the game with 5 people who were cheering for the Packers...oye.

  2. Aw :( You should have held an Irish wake...but then again, who wants to be hung over on a Monday! I, personally, enjoyed the Puppy Bowl...hee hee.

  3. Awww. Well, I know what it's like to have your team lose. Being a Bears and Cubs fan, I've gotten used to it. At least your team made it all the way to the end! And they have legit hope for next year, so cheer up.
