Week 37

It's my sister-in-law's birthday today! It's just me & my brother, I never had a sister until he got married. But what's really fun is that I get to play an additional role in their lives other than just sister... I'm also their PASTOR. hehe I actually officiated their wedding. Yup, this girl is a reverend. (online of course)

It was a really fun experience. They had a tiny little wedding, maybe 20 people total, down in San Antonio where they live. My dad (& Grandpa & ex-Aunt for that matter) is a real pastor so there was a bit of tension revolving around my online ordainment , but it all worked out in the end. And not to brag, but I think I did a really good job too. So if any of you folks need a wedding or funeral in the near future (let's hope it's a wedding), I'm legal in almost every county in the USA.

Now people like to joke "So you married your bother? Must have been in West Virginia! haha" Sorry if any of you are from West Virginia. Not for the joke... just sorry in general.

Team Matrimony.
1... 2... 3... Wed!

  1. Oh that's sweet! :) I got married back in September and our officiant is a sweet older man who is a volunteer chaplain where I work. I recommended him to my sister when she got married two years ago since they couldn't find anyone and then he was also able to officiate my wedding too. Kinda sweet and love the connection.

Love the West Virginia crack :)
